Listen to Episode 73 [audio http://thisweekonlot.files.wordpress.com/2011/05/twol73.mp3]
We managed to run through a lot of news this week in just 30 minutes. Let's get right to it!
As the title eludes to the first rumored 3rd leg Phish date has shown up. Personally TWoL is calling nans on this, it's probably an announcement for ABBA or Garth Brooks. ; )
If you're heading to Bethel for the Phish shows and need a place to stay we've got good news for you. The city approved camping permits for property owners in Bethel. What this means is that now any piece of land can be used as a "campground" for the weekend. Good news for phans that don't have a place to stay and would like to camp close to the venue.
Speaking of Bethel, as we mentioned last week there are plenty of after-shows going on. For a list of the after shows check out this link.
Continuing on with the Phish news, the 2nd Phamily Poker Classic has been announced. It will be held in Tahoe at Harvey's Casino. This tournament will have a structure so it finishes up in one day. If TWoL was going to be there you can bet your ass we would entering...and winning!
Switching gears we run through the initial moe. down lineup announcement. Ween, Railroad Earth, and Rubblebucket are a few names to note. More bands will be announced soon, so stay tuned!
The Governors Ball has been announced. If you're looking to get our untz on in NYC then check out this festival. Steve will be there with his flat breezy in full effect.
NYC is keeping it going this summer with the Summer Stage series. Each of the 5 boroughs in NYC will be hosting concerts all summer. There's something for everyone and it's free so you have no excuse!
In random music news Steely Dan has announced a interesting tour. For full details check out this link.
In show reviews this week, Steve saw Railroad Earth at the Wellmont Theater. You can check out our twitter feed from May 7th for the play by play, but we did a recap during this episode. Jackie Greene opened the night with a solid set. RRE brought the energy level up when they hit the stage, especially on the floor. Steve was impressed they played a 2.5 hour set with narry a break, only leaving the stage for about 20 seconds before the encore.
This week we received zero voicemails. This makes TWoL a saaaaaaaaaad panda. Don't forget we can't be everywhere, we count on our listeners to leave us messages and let us know what's going down on a lot near you!
Thank you again to everyone who supports us, we'll see you next week on lot!
Listen to Episode 55 [audio http://typeiicast.files.wordpress.com/2010/12/twol-55.mp3]
Going live after midnight on the east coast, we thought it was only appropriate to title this episode "TWoL After Dark". But we wanted to get in one last "normal" show of 2010, so we all grabbed a few drinks, and made it happen. Big ups to everyone in the chat room who stayed up late with us.
No big news this week on the jamband scene, so we hit you with all the standards; lot reports, ticket checks and whimsical banter. Don't be hesitant on downloading this one however, it's pure classic TWoL. Emilie saw a ton of music, Nick discusses the tap water situation in Vegas, and I play a lot of inappropriate sound bytes throughout. Some final advice before the Phish holiday run starts is given, and we fill everyone in on our plans for the same. Spoiler alert: WINE BAR!!!
Without a doubt, thanks to everyone who has been listening, whether from episode 1 or episode 54. We appreciate the support. We hope everyone has a happy and safe holiday, and we will see you guys on lot in Worcester.
PS: Special thanks to friend of the show "fishinole1" for a h3tty donation which we will put towards some stickers to hand out during this upcoming run.

Nick, Emilie and myself were MIA for most of the weekend, so our buddies "Toonces" and "Noob Laura" took over hosting duties. They discuss their thoughts on the scene, share some anecdotes from the weekend, and even managed to play some voice mails.
Great job guys!!!

Thanks for listening,
Hey guys, Just wanted to give everyone a quick update to whats happening here at the TWoL studios. Last Thursday, I came home to find some of my podcast equipment missing along with other personal items. The culprit is known, the police were contacted, and long story short, not much is going to be done. Fortunately, I had my MacBook on me, but my main microphone, headphones, and audio cards are all gone. Missing those items, I can't provide a live stream and have opted to wait for replacements until the next episode. An order has just been placed, and all should be well for Tuesday, 9/14/2010.
While it isn't costing too much to replace these items (just under $300), it is obviously unexpected and money that could have been spent on many other TWoL related expenses, instead of getting back to normal. If you are feeling generous and like the show, you can help us out with a donation. Hit us up on PayPal here, any amount is highly appreciated.
Thanks for listening,
The debate over the epicness of the Phish song The Divided Sky is finally resolved in this mini podcast battle of Eric vs. Parker. Who will win? You'll just have to listen to find out. special report-skygate2010
So just as the episode title states this week we ain't got shit! Not too much going on this week, none of us have made it to the Phish 3D movie yet, but we all have plans to see it the weekend it opens nationwide. From the little bit of activity we did have Emilie went to "Fauxchella" and saw a few bands that played recently at Coachella. She was able to catch Miike Snow, MGMT, and TLG in SF this week. She also made it out to see The Grateful Dead Movie where there was a little bit of a scene. We banter around those bands a few other things that amuse us.
We run through some voicemails from our listeners some are about the Phish 3D experience and some are just about as random as they come. However, we thank everyone who left us a message keep them coming! Since we didn't have shit to talk about this week we also took some suggestions from our twitter followers and discussed random topics.
Stay tuned for next week when we will announce a special giveaway contest we're having. You won't want to miss it!
